Tagore Association works in batik, the old wax-resist way of dyeing cloth. Its stall carries batik-printed sarees in cotton and silk, bedsheets and wrap skirts, each worked by hand, so no two pieces come out quite alike.

স্বামী স্বরূপানন্দের এক অকথিত জীবন ও দর্শন এই পুস্তক। তাঁর মতো মনীষী সম্বন্ধে যতটা চর্চা বা আলোচনা বঙ্গদেশ তথা ভারতীয় সমাজে হওয়া উচিত ছিল তা বোধহয় হয়নি। এই পুস্তক সেই আলোচনায় প্রয়াসী হয়েছে। অখণ্ডমণ্ডলেশ্বর স্বামী স্বরূপানন্দ সাধু হয়েও কখনও ভিক্ষা গ্রহণ করেননি। এবং তাঁর শিষ্যদেরও ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি থেকে সর্বদা দূরে থাকতে উপদেশ দিয়েছেন। তাই তিনি অভিক্ষু। তিনি একাধারে কবি, সংগীতকার, সংগঠক, বহু পুস্তকের প্রণেতা আবার মালটিভারসিটির মতো আধুনিক বিদ্যাচর্চা কেন্দ্রের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা। তিনি কঠোর শ্রমে বিশ্বাসী ছিলেন। ভারত, বাংলাদেশ-সহ পৃথিবীর নানা প্রান্তে, তাঁর অগণিত শিষ্য আজও বর্তমান। তিনি প্রণব মন্ত্রের প্রচারক। এই পুস্তকে অন্যান্য মনীষী ও সাধকদের সঙ্গে তাঁর ভাবধারা ও মতাদর্শের তুলনামূলক আলোচনাও করা হয়েছে। যে কোনও উৎসাহী পাঠকের কাছেই যা অত্যন্ত মূল্যবান। আর স্বরূপানন্দের শিষ্যদের কাছে এ-পুস্তক পঞ্চম বেদের সমতুল্য।
