Tagore Association works in batik, the old wax-resist way of dyeing cloth. Its stall carries batik-printed sarees in cotton and silk, bedsheets and wrap skirts, each worked by hand, so no two pieces come out quite alike.

হিমালয়, যেন মৌন ঋষির মতো ধ্যানমগ্ন সর্বত্যাগী এক সন্ন্যাসী! 'হিমালয়ের দশ বিস্ময়' লেখক সঞ্জীব দাসের দ্বিতীয় বই। এক অদম্য আকর্ষণ ও মুক্তির আনন্দে প্রায় আড়াই দশক ধরে লেখক হিমালয় যাত্রা করছেন। তবে লেখক শুধুমাত্র ভ্রমণ অনুরাগী নন, তিনি একাধারে অনুসন্ধানকারী ও গবেষক । তাই গিরিরাজ হিমালয়ের অনুপম দৃশ্য দেখেই তিনি শান্ত হননি, হিমালয়ের গিরি কন্দরে লুকিয়ে থাকা সুপ্ত ইতিহাস, লুপ্ত সংস্কৃতি ও অন্যরকম জীবনের সন্ধানে তিনি প্রায় এক দশক ধরে পাহাড়ের দুর্গম পথ পায়ে হেঁটে অতিক্রম করেছেন। লোকচক্ষুর আড়ালে থাকা প্রান্তিক দেহাতি হিমালয়চারিদের সান্নিধ্যে অন্তর দিয়ে উপলব্ধি করেছেন সেইসব ভিন্ন ধারার জীবনকে, যা এই বইয়ের অমূল্য রসদ। তিনি আসলে বেরিয়ে পড়েছেন হিমালয়ের আত্মার অনুসন্ধানে। এই বই পড়তে পড়তে কখন যেন হারিয়ে যেতে হয় হিমালয়ের বুকে! তাই তার এই ভ্রমণকথা শুধুমাত্র ব্যাকরণের নিগড়ে বাঁধা অনড় কিছু শব্দসমষ্টি কিংবা ট্রাভেল গাইড নয়। সার্থক অর্থেই এই বই আশ্চর্য অনুভব আর হিমারণ্যের বহমান জীবনের সুখপাঠ্য ভ্রমণ-সাহিত্য।
