Tagore Association works in batik, the old wax-resist way of dyeing cloth. Its stall carries batik-printed sarees in cotton and silk, bedsheets and wrap skirts, each worked by hand, so no two pieces come out quite alike.

সাধারণত রাজা ও সম্রাটরা নিজেদের কীর্তিকে অক্ষয় করে রাখার জন্য প্রাসাদ স্তম্ভ মিনার নির্মাণ করেন। কিন্তু মোঘল সাম্রাজ্যের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সম্রাট বাবর কোনো প্রাসাদ স্তম্ভ বা মিনার নির্মাণ করেননি, পরিবর্তে তিনি তৈরি করেছিলেন অজস্র রাজকীয় বাগান। বাবরের এই বাগান-প্রীতি শুধু তাঁর বংশধরদের মধ্যেই নয়, সেনাপতি, আমীর, আমলা, উচ্চপদস্থ ব্যক্তিবর্গের মধ্যেও জারিত হয়েছিল। এই বাগানগুলির সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে রয়েছে মোঘল সাম্রাজ্যের নানা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অধ্যায়। মোঘল সাম্রাজ্যের এক দিক যেমন যুদ্ধবিগ্রহ, খুনোখুনি, রক্তে রাঙা— আর একদিক সাহিত্য, সঙ্গীত, স্থাপত্য, শিল্পকলায় সমৃদ্ধ। সেই সঙ্গে আর এক সংযুক্তি তাঁদের বাগানবিলাস। ইতিহাসের ধুলো ঝেড়ে ১০০টিরও বেশি বাগানের ইতিহাস, স্থাপত্য দুই মলাটে গ্রন্থিত হল। মোঘল ও বিদেশি শিল্পীদের আঁকা অজস্র ছবির অন্তর্ভুক্তি বইটিকে দ্যুতিময় করে তুলেছে।
