বকচ্ছপ (Bokocchop) হলো সুকুমার রায়ের বিখ্যাত আবোল তাবোল বইয়ের "খিচুড়ি" কবিতার একটি কাল্পনিক মিশ্র প্রাণী। সুকুমার রায়ের কালজয়ী ননসেন্স ছড়া সংকলন ‘আবোল তাবোল’-এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত এই কবিতার মূল বিষয়বস্তু- বকচ্ছপ চরিত্রটির মাধ্যমে কবি দেখিয়েছেন কীভাবে দুটি বিপরীত চরিত্রের জীব একসঙ্গে মিলেমিশে আনন্দ করছে। কবিতায় বক কচ্ছপকে বলছে “বাহবা কি ফুর্তি! / অতি খাসা আমাদের বকচ্ছপ মূর্তি।” আপাতদৃষ্টিতে এর কোনো যৌক্তিক অর্থ নেই। কবি এখানে নিখাদ হাস্যরস ও আজগুবি কল্পনার এক জগৎ তৈরি করেছেন। সংক্ষেপে বলতে গেলে, নিয়মের বেড়াজাল ভেঙে নিখাদ আনন্দ ও কল্পনার ডানায় ভর করে এক অদ্ভুত ‘খিচুড়ি’ জগত তৈরি করাই এই কবিতার মূল বিষয়বস্তু
